Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property in Ambleside with my family for a week. the location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the center of town where we enjoyed exploring the local pubs, restaurants, and scenic walking paths. One of the key highlights for us was the quiet street and having our own parking at the rear of the property. As a busy parent juggling work and family responsibilities, convenience is always a top priority for me, so having a designated parking spot made the stay stress-free from the get-go. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped for a family of four. the open-plan layout downstairs was perfect for quality family time, with a lounge area, dining space, and a fully functional kitchen where we could prepare meals together. the utility entrance at the rear of the property was a bonus, providing a convenient space to store our muddy boots and wet coats after exploring the beautiful countryside. The bedrooms were comfortable, with a large double room for my partner and me, and a cozy twin room for the kids. the games room in the cellar area was a hit with the kids, providing entertainment and a space for them to unwind after a day of outdoor adventures. Overall, our experience at this property was delightful, and we would definitely consider staying here again if we were to visit Ambleside in the future. It offered everything we needed for a family-friendly holiday, from the comfortable accommodation to the convenient location and amenities that catered to our needs. As a family who enjoys quality time together in a relaxed and welcoming environment, this property ticked all the boxes for us. I would highly recommend it to other families looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in the heart of Ambleside.
